Flight Operations Officer Course

Aim:To train students to attain the professional skill and level of proficiency required vide CAA ANO 0-12-XXLC-3 of 20 Nov 2009. 

Frequency / Duration.FOO Course is 24 week course with 5 working days a week and 600 Instructional hours. Two courses will be conducted in a calendar year. 

Instructors.FOO Course will be conducted by two full time FOO instructors duly approved by CAA. 

Course Layout.The main FOO course comprises studying for 120 working days and 600 Instructional hours. 

Students will be taught following 15 subjects during the Course by CAA qualified and approved Ground Instructors. 

Practical Training Aspects.Besides the theoretical aspects, following visits will also be conducted as part of the course: 

After the completion of the formal training at the Institution, OJT will be conducted at a CAA approved Flight Operator Centre. FOO certification will be done by CAA on completion of FOO course and OJT.
